ISB 006 – Brick Manufacturing Process and Plant Tour Come visit a century-old brick manufacturing plant located in Utah and observe the comprehensive process of creating fired clay units from raw materials into finished products. The participant will learn how clay is mined, shaped, textured, dried, and fired to create a variety of shapes, sizes and colors. Also reviewed are the performance and physical characteristics of brick in the built environment.
How To Obtain AIA/CES Credit: Interstate Brick will sign and submit the paperwork for each attendee who completes the tour.
